I'm a master's student in Computer Science at the University of Iowa and a researcher in the
UIowa Biocomputing Lab advised by Dr. Rahul Singh.
I am focused on using AI and large language models as well as explainable AI for social good by surfacing meaningful clinical insights. Right now, I’m working on studying an underdiagnosed vocal disorder by modeling Reddit communities using word2vec and LLMs.
I graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Mathematics, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence Modeling & Simulation (AIMS). Previously, I have built production software at
Siemens Digital Industries; developed a Unity environment for continuous monitoring to study lifeguard behavior at the Attention & Perception Lab under
Dr. Cathleen Moore and Michael Paavola, MSc; and worked on vehicle navigation and computer vision software to create an educational platform for robotics and deep learning at the
Driving Safety Research Institute under Dr. Chris Schwarz.
